Product Description

Arneis in Piemontese dialect means rascal, a name given to the variety because it’s so difficult to grow, but this wine is anything but difficult to drink. The Faccendas have faith in their Arneis, and let it express itself most clearly in the glass, working sustainably in the vines, vinifying with little intervention. The grapes repay, as they will when the variety is well matched to the place, reaching out with a bouquet of melons and yellow flowers, drawing you in easily and kindly. Soft and medium-bodied in the mouth, this is a pretty, fresh-drinking wine full of lime blossoms, apricot and honeydew melon backed with perfect acidity and a touch of salinity that points up its freshness and makes it delicious with food. Pairing: Pair it with asparagus risotto or cod with creamy Parmesan sauce. SIZE: 750ml TYPE: White VARIETY: ARNEIS REGION: Roero, Piedmont, ITALY
